The six days of the instructional portion of Wood Badge S9-101-26 has come to a successful conclusion. Your staff is so proud and humbled by your participation. To put into words how we came together as strangers and to left as one…Troop 1…is very difficult. There was the uncertainty, the unknown and, at times, frustration. But then there was the camaraderie, the shared goals, the fun and the tears of joy. Although we all wanted to get home to our families, some of us didn’t want to leave…to have this portion come to an end. But, remember, wherever Wood Badgers are gathered, there, too, is Gilwell. We ARE Troop 1.
